First day of entry: 1 october 2009.

In order to be able to start the Amundsen Race and Amundsen DUO one needs to be minimum 18 years old on the day of the start, have a valid racing license, and the dogs on the team should be identity chip marked. Mushers who have a Swedish racing license also need to have the 'Green Card'.

This is what you do to enter:

1. Fill in the entry form and send it to: treasurer@amundsenrace.com
   The entry form is to be found here.
   If you are entering Amundsen DUO, both drivers on the team have to send in a form.
   
   Be sure to fill in your name and adress. It is being appreciated when you give some information about yourself,  former races you have participated in, maybe your website adress, etc. A photo of yourself is also very welcome.
   
2. Pay the entry fee the same day you enter. If we haven't received payment after a week your entry is not accepted!  IMPORTANT! Don't forget to mention the name of the driver on the order of payment!!

Entry fee Amundsen Race 2010:  4,500.-- SEK until 1 March 2010. When you pay after March 1st. of 2010, the entry fee will be 5,500.-- SEK

Entry fee Amundsen DUO 2010: 6,000.-- SEK until 1 March 2010. When you pay after March 1st. of 2010, the entry feel will be 6,500.-- SEK.

Until 15th of February 2010 the entry fee will be returned with deduction of 1,000.- SEK when not starting. After the 15th of February a medical attest in original respectively veterinary attest in orginal for the entire team needs to be handed over to the race organization in order to get the entry fee refunded with deduction of 1,000.-- SEK. The attest is to be handed in no later than 14 days after the last day of the race.

A form with the dogs' chipnumbers should be shown in connection to the veterinary checks. You find the form here .

The race is at own risk, and the entrant should sign an liability statement which is delivered to the sekretariat. Upon delivery of the statement, the bib number will be handed out. The statement form you find here .

Amundsen Race has a masstart which means that all teams get the same official start time and the first team over the finish line wins.
